In October 2021, GGS started with a local research project with an open call for local students to participate. A group of 10 students was selected. They followed training sessions to prepare for data-gathering for the project to find local indicators for climate change. Two (2) students participated in the data processing and editing of the report.
On January 12, 2024 the first publication on the research was published in Frontiers in Climate.
